Manor Park Primary School

'Playing, learning and growing together'

We want parents and children to feel part of our school community. Parents are welcome to visit the school to discuss their child’s / children’s progress and welfare. If parents wish to see the teacher or Headteacher for a longer discussion a prior telephone call would be appreciated in order to make appropriate arrangements.

Website

The school has a website which includes photographs and explanations of what we’ve been doing at school and copies of the school newsletter. The website is used as a way to involve parents in their child’s learning. See the ‘Blog’ section for the most current information.

Facebook Page

Information is shared with parents on the school Facebook page. This can be accessed on: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Manor-Park-School/

Parents Helping in School

There are many areas of life in school where the help and support of parents is invaluable. We would welcome any assistance, on a regular basis, from parents to work alongside the children in school.

Our successful Reading Buddies scheme is just one example of how parents can make a positive difference to our school.

Not everyone can commit themselves to helping on a regular basis, but may be able to help occasionally with school events or outings. We really are most grateful for all the support we receive from parents. We do hope that you will be able to help. If you would like to be a Manor Park Reading Buddy and listen to children read please speak to Mrs Erani-Kirkham who can provide you with more information.

Parents Helping at Home

We value parental input in supporting children with their learning at home and have produced a 'Helping Your Child' area to offer some useful guidance.

Home School Agreement

As a school we value the support of parents working as partners with the teaching staff, sharing and celebrating successes and encouraging the children to make the most of the opportunities that are on offer through their education at Manor Park School. We ask all new parents to sign the Manor Park Home-School Agreement.
